Mihi Falls

Skip.net > Guides > Dangars Gorge > Mihi Falls

Mihi Falls is situated about 5 kms east along the main walking track from Dangar Falls. It is a pretty easy walk and doesn't have a proper lookout but the view is prretty good. The falls are a bit odd in that the Mihi Creek runs parallel to the gorge before cascading over the side of the gorge rather than the end of the gorge 300m away. You can walk around the valley to the other side and follow the start of the falls, which are a series of steep chutes in a zigzag. You could probably also scramble down into the gorge from the scree to the right of the lookout.

Here are some photos from my Camping trip on the 25/26 Mar 2000.
