How to get there: Ashford is 55 kms north of Inverell. From Ashford follow the signs and the caves are another 28 kms north east.
After a late night, not enough sleep, and being woken up half an hour late, we headed off. I remember the caves from when I was a kid and I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasently surprised by how large it was and how many squeezes there were. The morning was spent in the main cave, then the arvo we walked around trying to find the other 3 mystery caves. We found one which looked as though a farmer had filled it with dirt, so we spent a while digging it up without luck.
