Michael Whelan:

  1. To assess the suitability of satellite data at a national scale to differentiate different environments that could affect selection via a genotype by environment interaction.

  2. Assess the strength of the relationship between pasture records and animal growth data collected at 23 locations throughout Australia.

  3. Quantify the relationship between data collected in the field, hyper spectral data collected from an aeroplane and satellite.

  4. Assess the suitability of using satellite data to calibrate a pasture growth model

Clancy Rose:

  1. Development program of testing an existing agricultural chemical as an ectoparasiticide for the control of Sheep biting lice Bovicola ovis in sheep

  2. Stages of the program includes the following types of experiments:

    1. Dose titration and Efficacy

    2. Safety Study and Toxicology

    3. Pilot Protective and Confirmatory Protective Periods

    4. Confirmatory Efficacy and Rain fast tests

    5. Residues of the fibres and meat

    6. Field Studies
