Town with no Walls!

Here is the built up area (BUA) that I constructed for my Early Greek Hoplites and Hellenistic Spartans to defend. The base is Masonite cut to an irregular shape with a 600 bevel. The base is flocked in my usual manner and a roadway has been laid. The buildings were each constructed in the following manner.
The body of the buildings is solid pine cut the shapes shown, with appropriate texture applied.
For the temple this is embossed plastic for the walls and thin card for the corners. The roofing is plastic sheeting with a tile profile. The columns are scribed dowelling and the figure is a Zvezda figure from their Hoplite range.

With regard to the barracks, the wall finish is plaster, powder paint (yellow ochre), pva glue and water mixed to a thick consistency. The door and window framing are match sticks cut to size and the roof tiles are made from thin card. The doors are scribed plasticard.
Painting was fairly straight forward. The temple was undercoated black. The walls were then dry-brushed from a dark brown through to a buff colour. The roof was dry-brushed from a dark red through to a light pink. The figure on the pediment was dry-brushed a copper colour then washed with a watered down green ink; this was to achieve an aged appearance. The temple's doors received the same treatment. The columns were painted a dark orange colour and then dry-brushed with buff.
For the barracks the walls were dry-brushed with buff. The roof was painted black and then dry-brushed from a dark blue through to a very light blue. The window and door frames were painted with a mid brown ink. The doors received the same treatment.
Here are some close-ups of the buildings.
