Who Are We?
Dux Bellorum Australis is comprised of an extremely small group of wargamers that total two in number. Mark Baker and Greg Kelleher have been playing wargames for about 20 years and their main period of interest has been the Horse and Musket period of 1685 through to 1815. These dates happily coincide with the coming to pre-eminence of John Churchill and the demise of Napoleon Bonaparte. At the last tournament that we both attended Mark convinced me that we should pool our resources, time and talents to develop a demonstration/participation game using the DBA rule set that is published by WRG. This series of WEB pages is meant to chart our progress to this end.
From the links on the Contents page you will be able to see what progress has been made with our endeavour. Bear in mind that this is a definite "work in progress" and that not all links will have pages behind them. If you have any comments we would be happy to hear from you. Our email addresses are gkellehe@une.edu.au and markbaker@westpac.com.au.
