RE-ASSESSMENT OF ESSAYS OR ASSIGNMENTS

If you have concerns about the assessment of an essay or written assignment, then first consult the marker.

If you wish to proceed further and formally request a re-assessment then:

* return the original essay or written assignment.

* provide a clean copy of the original essay or written assignment in question and your reasons for the request to the Unit Co-ordinator.

A second marker from the History Department will read the essay or written assignment and give an assessment.

Please note that this re-assessment will he on the basis of whether or not the original mark is justified. If you are still not satisfied, you may refer the matter to the Head of Department.

GENERAL

I am very happy to help you with any problems arising in connection with the unit.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require assistance.
