Iain Davidson

Professor of Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology

I have been at UNE since March 1974, twelve weeks after the beginning of the Department of Prehistory and Archaeology. That Department became the Department of Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology in 1986, and ceased to exist in 1998 with the formation of the School of Human and Environmental Studies (of which I was the foundation Head of School).
