Digital Terrane Map of East Asia

This project aims to provide a digital terrane map for East and SE Asia which will be published as a CD ROM by the Geological Survey of Japan. The CD ROM will include information on the various terranes of the region and on the suture zones that form the boundaries between terranes. This project is a direct contribution to, and forms a part of the UNESCO International Geological Correlation Program Project 411 "Geodynamics of Gondwanaland-derived terranes in E & SE Asia".
