I hold a B.Sci
from the Inner Mongolia Agricultural University in Hohhot, China, an M.Sc
from The University of New South Wales, Australia and a PhD from The
University of Sydney. My main area of work is monogastric animal nutrition. Over the years, I have developed a strong interest in carbohydrate chemistry, in particular, the relationship between chemical structure of mono-, oligo- and polysaccharides and their nutritional effects in pigs, poultry and dogs.
