The Weather at Glen Innes NSW

 

Glen Innes has three weather stations providing daily data to the Bureau of Meteorology:

POST OFFICE weather station, elevation 1062 metres, measures conditions in the
CBD and was opened in 1881. Daily observations are taken at the standard times of 9am and 3pm.

AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH STATION, elevation 1060 metres, is seven kilometres to the north-west of the town and is in a rural setting. The weather station here was opened in 1910. Only one set of daily observations is taken at
9am.

THE AIRPORT, elevation 1044 metres, is eight kilometres north-west of the town and has an automatic weather station which was opened in 1996.
Readings are available hourly from this station. The media uses data from this station.
