 Assessment

There will be 5 small programming assignments, each worth 4% and two large programming projects, each worth 15%. A student must obtain 50% in the programming part of the unit to pass the unit itself. For those not up on their arithmetic the exam is worth 50%. Deadlines will only be extended on medical grounds. Otherwise late submissions will attract a penalty of 10% per day late and will not be accepted at all if more than seven days late.

You must also monitor the unit bboard, found on the unit web page. Failure to do so will mean you will miss important announcemenets and clarifications. To be completely clear: monitoring the bboard is a compulsory part of the unit.
