Aims
The aim of the teaching team is to help you to develop an understanding of the teaching/learning process and to acquire some necessary skills to enable you to become an effective teacher.
Objectives
Upon completion of this unit, you will:
- have begun to define your own philosophy of teaching
- have begun to understand the complexity of the planning process
- have begun to understand the complexity of the assessment process
- know some ways of coping with diversity
- understand why particular teaching strategies are effective
- be aware of a range of approaches to classroom management
We also hope you will have started to develop the Attributes of a UNE Graduate.
