o First crystal
structures of anomeric amides
The recently obtained structure of an N-acyloxy-N-alkoxyamide depicts the most pyramidal tertiary amide structure to date. An N,N'-diacyl-N,N'-dialkoxyhydrazine also exhibits strongly pyramidal nitrogens due to anomeric
substitution at the nitrogens.
